The Croatia-to-Montenegro roaming trap
This is the single most useful thing on this page. Croatia is in the EU; Montenegro is not. If you are on a European SIM using EU roam-like-at-home allowances, they stop the moment you cross at Debeli Brijeg and you revert to non-EU roaming rates, which are typically many times higher. The same applies coming from Bosnia or Albania on an EU plan. A local eSIM sidesteps it entirely.
