Croatia has solid 4G/LTE coverage along the entire Adriatic coast and all tourist destinations. HT (Deutsche Telekom group) has the widest national footprint and best island coverage. A1 and Telemach are strong in Zagreb and major cities. Dubrovnik Old Town, Split's Diocletian Palace, Zadar, and Šibenik are fully covered. The islands — Hvar, Brač, Korčula, Vis, and Mljet — have 4G in main towns and harbours; remote beaches reached by boat or hiking may have weaker signal. Plitvice Lakes National Park has 4G at the entrance and main viewing platforms; some remote trail sections are 3G. The coastal highway (Jadranska Magistrala) has full 4G throughout. Will this work on the islands — Hvar, Korčula, Vis?
Yes in main towns. Hvar Town, Stari Grad, and Jelsa (Hvar) all have 4G. Vis Town and Komiža (Vis) are covered. Remote beaches and hiking trails on the islands may have weaker signal.
Is Dubrovnik Old Town covered?
Yes. Dubrovnik has excellent 4G/5G throughout the Old Town, city walls, and cable car to Mount Srđ.

What happens when my data runs out?

How long is the eSIM valid for?
You have 6 months from your purchase date to activate the eSIM. Once activated, the plan validity period (e.g., 7 days, 30 days) begins counting down.
Will the eSIM work at the airport when I land?
Yes — as long as you installed the eSIM before your flight, it activates automatically when your phone connects to a local network on landing. No Wi-Fi required for activation.
What if the QR code doesn't scan?
If the QR code won't scan, you can enter the activation code manually — we include both in the email. You can also contact our 24/7 support team and we'll resend or manually provision your eSIM.
